Customer Services & Order Processing

Our customer services and order processing departments are responsible for receiving and processing all inbound customer orders on behalf of NBNi publisher clients, as well as handling all incoming customer calls and enquiries.

 

Working in conjunction with our IT system & carrier suppliers, our customer services teams are able to track orders from keyboarding to delivery and we can provide a dedicated tracking service for key functions such as exhibitions / adoption or time-critical orders.

 

Our order processing team receive and process orders from a wide variety of customers and are experienced in dealing with both simple & complex orders and consignments. We offer the processing of free copy despatches for the purposes of review and inspection copy systems and provide detailed reporting to allow publishers to manage these systems.

 

How to place orders

NBNi can handle orders received via web, fax, post, email & telephone & the NBNi website provides further ordering facilities whereby orders are transmitted direct into our secure server.

In addition, Trade Orders can be received through the following book industry channels:

  • Teleordering
  • EDI
  • PubEasy

Direct Sale customers can order via web, fax, post, email & telephone and should provide pre-payment details with any orders.

Institutions can order on account upon provision of an official purchase order number and/or order copy.

 

PubEasy

As NBNi are a full affiliate of PubEasy, customers who order via this route also have the ability to track orders. Please log onto PubEasy using your pin number and follow the on screen instructions. For new accounts wishing to commence ordering via PubEasy please contact PubEasy to set up login details. PubEasy will then inform our credit control team of the pin number assigned to your account.

Opening Hours

Our opening hours are 8.00 – 5.30 Monday to Friday and outside of opening hours, customers can place orders via the NBNi website.

 

Hotlines

During the Academic / back to school season and in the run-up to Christmas, we a offer a hotline service for orders over 10 units in volume, whereby orders received before 12.00 noon are despatched same day.
