NBN INTERNATIONAL is a forward-thinking, service-oriented distributor providing an integrated and effective combination of warehousing, order fulfilment and credit and collection service to UK, European and North American publishers of academic, professional and trade books. We provide distribution in the UK & Europe and, for some of our publishers, to diverse international territories, either direct or supplying bulk to publishers’ overseas agents.

NBNi is wholly owned by the US-based Rowman and Littlefield publishing group (RLPG) with the National Book Network (NBN). RLPG is one of North America’s largest independent publishers, incorporating a number of well-known humanities, social sciences, academic and library lists. NBN, the distribution business owned by RLPG is one of North America’s and Canada’s largest and best-known independent distributors.

We work predominantly with independent publishers, many of whom are specialist of niche publishers. We are particularly strong in the following categories: art; architecture and design; academic; STM and biomedical sciences; professional; humanities and social sciences; scholarly (university presses) and institutions. We also distribute trade lists that fit well with our overall client and customer profile, so have taken on publishers with travel lists also. Our publisher clients are predominantly, but not exclusively British and North American publishers.
